A Message to Our Clients about COVID-19
Welcome back, we’ve missed you! My team and I already followed strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols regulated by the MD Board of Cosmetology before the effects of COVID-19, but we’ve now adopted extra safety precautions and placed even greater emphasis on using even more disposable items. We remain committed to continually evaluating what must be done to meet the needs of our customers and adhere to (and exceed) both Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and Cosmetology board regulations. The following safety precautions are being taken to protect the health and wellbeing of you and our staff during our visit:
Our staff has taken a refresher course on Salon/Spa Infection Control and earned certificates
Our staff wash their hands thoroughly before and after contact with every client.
Our salon uses an EPA-registered disinfectant on tools, containers, and all surfaces that you may come in contact with during our visit.
A new set of gloves is used for every client and at times must be changed during the service.
We will wear PPE gear during our services including but not limited to face masks, shoe covers, face shields and more as we see appropriate.
We ask that clients wear masks during the entire service, wash their hands or allow us to give them sanitizer and not have animals or additional people in the space while we work.
We ask that you please cancel your appointment if you or anyone in your home is feeling sick, and the same goes for our staff. We will be happy to work with you to schedule another appointment as soon as you are feeling better. We are working hard to keep you, our staff safe, and we know we can count on you too. We will continue to remain cautious and communicate about any changes and we ask that you do the same. Our cancellation policy is still 48 hours notice but we will remain flexible with cancellations relating to feeling ill or anyone in your household feeling ill. Thank you, Joy A.
